Signature Handcrafted Atchar
Our slow-made atchar is prepared in small batches with hand-cut green mango, roasted spices and a family recipe refined over generations. Available in plain, peri-peri, peri-peri & garlic and garlic.

Mtengo is a passionate catering and culinary business dedicated to creating memorable food experiences for every occasion. We provide private and corporate catering services, offering personalised menus for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, celebrations, corporate meetings, team lunches, product launches and other special events.
Our freshly prepared dishes combine quality ingredients, creativity and a personal touch, with menus designed to suit each client's needs and occasion. From intimate gatherings to larger functions, we focus on delicious food, professional service and attention to detail.
Our founder Mrs. Deborah Ramano-Matjeni is a passionate culinary professional and entrepreneur with a strong foundation in both business and the culinary arts. With a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Pretoria, complemented by training in Business Ethics, Good Governance and Talent Specialization, the founder brings a unique blend of leadership, business insight and people development to the culinary industry.
This passion was further strengthened through formal culinary qualifications, including a Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking and a Diploma in Patisserie, as well as studies in Hotel and Catering Management. This diverse educational journey reflects a commitment to excellence, continuous learning and innovation, which continues to shape the vision and values of the organization today.
